When I first received word of this product I was a little skeptical so I began a search on the Internet. I found nothing for 100% Carbon Fiber Blankets with a heat rating for 5400 degrees. The highest temp rating I could find was 3000. Heat and fire resistant blankets are msotly used for welding applications but can be used anywhere sparks could be a hazzard. These blankets are 3/16" thick, they are soft and flexible. Approximate size is 5' x 6'. They are available in any length with a width of 4.9'.
