This extension is similar to the one in the kits except it has been made longer to hold longer levels. If you want to be able to join one or more one piece levels you can do so with this assembly but it needs to be built into the level when you order it. Each assembly is precision fit the level it is being used on. Use this assembly for all levels over 12 feet in length before joined.
The Extension Assembly Feature allows for individual sections of any size to be connected, thereby extending the length of the Level. A solid aluminum Adaptor is machined to such a tolorenace that when inserted into the hollow end of another section, there is no wobble, drooping or movement of any kind. Then it is welded to the Frame of the Level. Next, (2) 240 psi latches lock the two sections together, tight. You can Order Levels with this Feature installed at the Factory; use each Level independently or connect them in 3-4 seconds, no tools required.
