A matte finish can be achieved on most solid surface materials in just two steps: 180 or 220 Grit or 80 or 60 Micron then Perfect Finish Matte compound with Maroon Scuff & Buff. To achieve a satin finish 220 Grit or 60 Micron then Perfect Finish Satin compound with Maroon Scuff & Buff.

MATTE FINISH:
Sand your deck to the equivalent of a 220 Grit paper. Apply Perfect Finish Matte Finish Liquid with a random orbit sander and a maroon Scotch Brite or a maroon Scuff & Buff Pad.
SATINFINISH:
Sand your deck to the equivalent of a 220 Grit paper. Apply Perfect Finish Satin Finish Liquid with a random orbit sander and a maroon Scotch Brite or a maroon Scuff & Buff Pad.
SEMIGLOSS FINISH:
Sand your deck to the equivalent of a 400 Grit paper. Apply Perfect Finish Satin Finish Liquid with a random orbit sander and a white or green Dust Away disc.
